All participants are invited to join the official Opening Ceremony of the IAU General Assembly 2024 at Auditorium 1, followed by a Welcome Reception in the Exhibition Hall.

Get ready to showcase your stellar skills at the upcoming Talent Show during the IAU-GA2024. Whether you’re a star at singing, a master of dance, a wizard with words, comedian, or have any other talent, this is your chance to shine brighter than the stars in the South African sky!
Gala Dinner, Aug 12

Bring your glitz and glam, and put on your dancing shoes. Besides the festivities and networking, we hope it will also be a cultural experience. The gala dinner is a ticketed event. Tickets may be purchased online (from your dashboard) or at the Finance Desk at the venue in Cape Town. The last day to purchase gala dinner tickets is Thursday, August 8.
Free Childcare is available to Gala dinner attendees. Please proceed to the “Roof terrace” on the second floor to sign in your child for the duration of the gala dinner. Kindly add your contact number when you sign in.
