Open Access Encounters

Open Access Encounters will take a deep look at open access with regards to, interalia, astronomy library and information services, touching on the role of open access in open science and scholarly publishing. It will be held as a hybrid event at the South African Astronomical Observatory on 7 August 2024 from 9:00 to 15:00. Both attendees and non-attendees of the IAU GA 2024 are welcome to take part.
